Drove through night from Santa Rosa and through day to Little Rock as temperatures cooled into upper 80's

Checked with national weather service, We have a

corradore of day time highs in 80's all the way home

Decided to drive rest of way home in daylight

Stopped at Motel in Little Rock around 4PM

CALIFORNIA OR BUST: Day 18......Monday.......7-9-12

Day 18.......Monday........7/9/12..........Traveled through Arizona and New Mexico desert at night

Stopped around Noon and plugged in at Santa Rosa, New Mexico

Slept till 8 PM 

Left camp ground at 9PM to drive through desert at night

Departed Las Vegas 4 AM to beat the headt to the Grand Canyon

Stopped at Hoover Dam

Arrived at Camp Ground in Williams Arizona (I-40 / Route 66)

Made reservations to ride train to Grand Canyon tomorrow

Girls rode horses

Marina, Stores, full size laundry,

Out door theater, and rentals from golf carts to sail boats.

I missed my chance at fame....Karaoke was last night

All this and only $75/day

Drove up coast to Analheim RV park where we droped trailer at campsite

Huntington Beach just west of Anaheim

Shortly after this photo engine stalled and would not restart....

less than one mile from summit

Fuel system was pressurized.....opened gas cap and got arm soaked with gasoline

Ambient temperature in mid to upper 90's

Added 15 gal of gas from trailer to cool gas in Motorhome fuel

After about 30 min delay and a lot of praying the engine started

After we crossed summit to Pacific Coast side of mountain

temperature begain dropping rapidly and all was OK

Day 5......6-26-12........Roswell to Tucson

Speeding Ticket

Left Roswell at 4:30AM.....at sunrise going down

 mountain in west New Mexico 

Pulled over in small town at bottom of mountain

 Hwy 70 ....64mph in a 50mph zone???

Shortly after speeding ticket and sunrise arrived at

White Sands National Monument

Planning to stop and plug in when teperature gets in upper 90's

Clouds and Vergo kept temps in mid 90's

maid it to Tucson at about 5PM

Plugged in at Catus Country RV park, Tucson

Departed at 1:30AM next morning to drive thru desert

to California in cool of night
